Junior (L1) System Administrator

Job Description

Our perfect match will be part of a growing team supporting Windows and *NIX systems, located on-prem and off-site, including in the AWS cloud. They would be responsible for:

  • monitoring the internal ticketing system and reactively responding to the L1 issues;
  • escalating the L2 and L3 issues to the appropriate engineers in accordance to the relevant SLA;
  • mainitaining a mixed computing environment with Windows, Linux and Mac workstations including hardware & software planning, ordering, installation and upgrades.

Key technical skills

System administration, interest in PC/Server hardware, cross-realm (Windows/Linux) troubleshooting, Microsoft technologies.

Key personal skills

Strive for innovation, excellent cross-realm (users/management/TLs) communication skills.

  • Basics of the different Linux flavors - Debian/Ubuntu/RHEL/AWS Linux;
  • Basics of networking - DNS/DHCP/routing/switching.
